I thought it fitting to take one last photograph as I was leaving 4th Ave. This is the morning after a "splendid" weekend night on 4th, complete with consumption and debauchery alike. yet, none of that is present in this photo; the street is filled with emptiness, sun, and dry, dry heat- the perfect storm for the itinerant hungover college student. People are on their way to work, breakfast, or back to bed. But in any case, they are all heading away from 4th Ave. and back towards the daily grind of everyday life.

So Long, Farewell...

This photo reminds me of a 70's old school road-trip photo across America. The lines at the top of the picture, from the trolley cart are very similar to the hippie capital of America, San Fran. The city is filled with trolley cart wires everywhere throughout the city. What is cool is that the car is off of the tracks, kind of resembling a alternative lifestyle by coincidence.
